Erigeron cf. humilis Graham [M. Burzynski has stated that the cross-walls of the multicellular hairs on the stems and involucres of the plants illustrated below, from Ramah, were "dark purple (more midnight blue or black), rather than pink or reddish", and considered all of the plants to be Erigeron humilis. It should be noted that the very similar Erigeron uniflorus Linnaeus var. eriocephalus (J. Vahl) B.
